We remain in our quest to try to maintain you informed as much as possible during these difficult times.
As we informed you in previous communications regarding our closure due to this state of alarm in our country for the management of the health crisis situation caused by COVID-19, yesterday, the government has decreed the extension of another two weeks the alarm state, specifically until 9th May now, along with its mobility restrictions. Prime Minister has not concreted what procedures are going to take place once the state of alarm ends, so it is still an uncertainty for us to be able to offer even an approximate opening date of our golf course.
Although the State of Alarm continues to force us THE CLOSURE OF ALL FACILITIES of the Real Club de Golf Las Brisas until further notice, this slight reduction of restrictions of mobility measures, will enable us to increase the maintenance works on the golf course, and additionally prepare it for a possible opening during the month of May, subject to the recommendations of the competent authorities.
Again, as it happened last week, there is another chance for opening the golf course next 18th of May, you are now able to make your reservation of tee times online, or through our Club App, as all the reservations of tee times that were made for this week had to be cancelled due to the postponement of access to phase 1 of the province of Málaga; If you want to make reservations by phone, you may call from next Monday 18th from 10am, we expect the course to be open only for Members with a tee time reserved from 12 noon under the strict measures shown in our protocol below. From Tuesday onwards we will have tee times available from 8:30am onwards.
We inform you that the Consejo Superior de Deportes (CSD) has confirmed that golf courses, as an outdoor sports facility, can open from the date of entry into force of the phase 1 which may be next May 18th in the province of Málaga. Also this Saturday, May 9th, the Ministry of Health has published Order SND / 399/2020 (Download Order) in which it establishes the mandatory conditions that apply to the reopening of certain services, including golf courses and directly related facilities.
Once these extremes are clarified – golf enters phase 1, the province of Málaga may be elegible to enter phase 1 from May 18th, and known the sanitary conditions that apply together with the reopening of our facilities.
All Members of the staff have been tested with efforts to show that Brisas has covid19 free employees on duty, all the employees were negative on covid19.
