The 11th hole remains in its former position, with its beautiful aspect looking downhill towards the sea and over the existing lake. The green has been pulled slightly forward and repositioned closer the lake edge with a long bunker guarding the front left side of the green. HOLE TWELVE
The back and middle tees on this par 5 hole have been shifted to the right of the creek so that all tees are now on the same side, eliminating the need for the previous fence on the left of the tee. A new target bunker, which comes into play off the tee for the longer hitters, has replaced the two shorter bunkers on the right. HOLE THIRTEEN
This dogleg left par 4 has been shifted slightly left and existing olive trees have been replanted down the right side of the hole creating a greater buffer to the surrounding development and road. HOLE FOURTEEN
This hole has been redesigned and lengthened to play as the longest par 4 on the course. Now a straight away hole through the olive trees, drives that land near the new right side fairway bunker will have the best angle to approach the new green. HOLE FIFTEEN
Ever since the adjacent land of the former short course was sold for housing many years ago, the proximity of the existing houses on the right of the former Par 4 hole, plus the severity of its dogleg around the houses, plus the relationship of the green to both the 12th and 16th tees have created issues for the club. This long and challenging new par 4 plays in the opposite direction of the old 17th hole. Drives play over the existing lake to a landing area at the top of the hill that is in the same area as the old hole.
